So over my vacation me and my family took a trip to Utah. We stayed at The Cliff Lodge at the Snowbird Basin. We skiied at Snowbird, Alta, Snowbasin, and Deer Valley. Everything out there is so much different then our small little mountains in New England. Like have you seen the size of the mountains and the lodges! I used to think that my home mountain, Sunday River was big, but not anymore. Have any of you ever skiied out in Utah? Personally my favorite mountain was Snowbasin. I thought that the terrain and the lodges and everything was just amazing. I loved the the gondolas and how you can take the tram up to the olympic mens and womens downhill and ski down it. That was a really exciting experience for me. I thought the terrain at Deer Valley was a little on the boring side personally and the whole mountain was really ritzy, but it was still incredible. So when I went to Alta, a skiiers only mountain. It was a little weird being there for me, like I am so used to having snowboarders around me. Honestly, I feel like thats kind of discriminating against them and anyone should be able to ski anywhere they want. How do you feel about it? Do you not like the no snowboarders policy or are you against it like me?
